Where the wild things grow
They always find a way,
A way to make their presence felt.
They push through
Like a mischievous child peering through the safety of parental legs
At first shy and reticent…
And then it’s all bravado
Reaching, stretching, creeping
Amazingly, they know how to show their very best
Know what frames them perfectly
Know just when to twist and turn and cascade
Creating patterns and colours designers can only dream of
Adding beauty to the drabbest of corners
Like a silent artist
They create masterpieces
Unexpected and seldom appreciated
Except by the few who stop and look
And savour these corners of the world
Corners of the world…
where the wild things grow!

LOVE this post F. I am always drawn to the creeping wild things too.
…and they are always beautiful.. even if they are sometimes, unwanted.
It's really quite amazing sometimes, you wonder…but HOW?!
Beautiful.. Though hard work for the gardener in me! Xcat
I know Costas – they are pests – but such beauties! Have a wonderful weekend in London F x
The creepier and wilder the better I say V! F xx
Thank you – you must see some beauties where you are in Italy too! F xx
Couldn't agree more Eva – they are SO tenacious! That's what I love about them – they always find a way to shine! F x
Cat I used to remove all my weeds – and now I just let them be – unless noxious of course!
They say the difference between a weed and a flower is a judgement! I judge your photos to be delicious! Love
They really do complete the scene. Especially so with these old buildings. VERY nice photos!
Thank you xx
